Four years ago, I told my husband that I wanted to learn how to sew. My mother gave me her 30 year old machine and I went to the library in search of a good HOW TO book. I started sewing baby blankets, and haven't stopped since!  Hundreds of ripped out seams, 2 new sewing machines, and thousands of hours later, sewing became my life's work. 

When my son was born, my mother handed me a basket full of treasures- heirlooms from when I was a baby. I loved receiving these items and using them with my son. I sincerely hope these items will be the same for you. Although I no longer handmake all of the items on my site, you will find the same quality and attention to detail in each item here at MiniMe BabyGear. 

 I am so happy that I get to stay home with my son and watch him grow up. Not a day goes by that I do not laugh about something funny he has done or said.
